Default Spark plugs?

in a couple weeks i'm looking to change a lot in the xfire. new spark plugs, oil filter, oil, cabin filter, air filters, fuel filter. but i'm not sure what spark plugs to go with any suggestions?

Everything I've read also says to go with the Denso's. And don't forget, you have two plugs per cylinder, so order 12.

Another one of those pleasant expenses with the XF: 12 plugs at $12 bucks each. $144 just for the plugs...oh, brother! True confessions time and please, don't jump all over me but, I have never changed the OEM plugs in my cars in probably 30 years. If this was causing a problem in any of my cars, "they never complained." Years ago I had a Subaru that had over 120K miles and it ran like a top; I didn't fix what wasn't broken.

Do a search on changing the plugs - it's not easy.

You just could not tell... I am sure if you would have changed the spark plugs on that subaru to ANYTHING just new you of would of felt the difference... We had a 1993 Ford Explorer back in the day in Russia it had around 130k miles and when we changed the spark plugs it felt like... the car gained a 100 ponies...

Changing your plugs is a necessary evil sometimes. I use the Bosch iridium plugs, they require no gaping. I haven't replaced the plugs in my xfire yet but have done so in my Ram I have seen improved performance both in power and gas mileage.

i don't know what brand i'm going for i know i'm not coughing up $144 bucks for plugs maybe if i had the srt... the plugs also let you know how your cars running, a gold burn means cars running good. a pink burn means you run rich, and a black burn means you run lean, pink not enough air or spark, black not enough gas, gold = your golden GET IT?

I would have said black plugs was rich or oil contaminated.

Fancy plugs are a waste of money when you have two! Just use OEM or equal.

NGK's are for japanese engines do not use with xfire its a waste of money need to use bosch, pulstar or something for german engines. Bosch iridium are best a bit pricey though 21 bucks a piece

ok i did some reasearch although ngk's are specifically for japanese engines they will and do run and work for the crossfire but u must make sure the gapping is correct which is .039 and it should be fine

No spark plug has been created tht doesn't fowl before I put this ngk's previous ones were ngk's and 2 of them had fowled out but no doubt they work and do the job
