I honestly don't know what they sell it for. What ever I paid isn't relevant. I used to sell Ansa in a speed shop I worked at in the '70s. I always loved the sound and wanted it for my Crossfire. Ansa wasn't aware of any Crossfire's with an Ansa Sport and wanted to see if their universal muffler could be made to work. What I paid, was the price to be a guinea pig. Ansa has never been cheap and is a premium Italian made system. Retail is close to $400. As I have already said give Gwen a call and find out the price. I really don't know what they sell it for, but I do think Gwen will take very good care of you and treat you very well.
I believe you can get the Ansa for a lot less than $400. Someone let us know when you get a price quote from Ansa.

Ansa has three different lines. OEM replacement, Silverline, and Ansa Sport.
Yes this is just the Muffler with tips. "A whole system" for a Crossfire is a joke. All you get with a Full system is a piece of pipe that you already have. The only advantatage to a full system is that you can unbolt and bolt on the new one yourself but you are paying a couple of hundred dollars more to be able to do it yourself when any muffler shop will weld in the new muffler for $75 IMO, the dumbest thing you can do is buy a full system and then pay to have it put on.
Ansa Sport is not OEM except for some very exotic Italian cars with a prancing horse emblem.

found a sound clip on thier site from a BMW, I'm guessing its a 6 cyl and should be the closest thing to sounding like Tex's crossfire.

Question on the install - was anything other than the OEM muffler and tips removed? Any type of modification, to make it fit? Or was a straight remove and replace?

Lantana,
Is the OE exhaust on your car stainless? Just wondering - as a lot of shops around here don't know how to weld SS worth a crap.
Still looking for a sound clip - and the dang email notifications on the website aren't working.

Lantana, you have now had the Ansa for about a month, What do you think? Better than the magnaflow and borla? Would you do it again? Would you do anything different? Has performance changed?
