Thanks, good thing Santa is coming! Can still remember the sound of the Ansa's on my Alfa's - and that was a LONG time ago - the stock exhaust gets me close but then it lets me down - its not the same, thanks again

My only complaint is that I will have to get rid of it when the V8 goes in and I haven't found a suitable Ansa for the V8 yet. For the V8 i want a two in two out muffler. My Ansa is one in two out. While I want a true dual for the V8, if I can't find a suitable Ansa muffler, I will probably try this muffler for a while just to see how it sounds on a V8.
Send me the Ansa.....I'll buy it off you if it won't work for you!
I loved ansa on my 99 miata, I'd definitely like to do it on my crossfire but I am concerned with the fitment. I noticed on your car that the tips seem to stick out quite a bit, is it possible to get them more flush with the bumper?

I haven't got any of mine, but could maybe get one at some point when I can get the car up ... I can tell you, however, that the bend was NOT a problem for my muffler guy ...
Is the Ansa stainless? Out of all the mufflers out there this is the one I would pick. Do you think the stock tips could be attached?

Yeah I understand that. If it is not something my guy (still haven't decided where to go yet) isn't comfortable with, I'll just go that route also. Ths is like waiting for Christmas.
Well guys and gals, no good news for the ANSA muffler for the SRT6. First off the inlet is centered and the SRT is offset on drivers side. Worse off is the inlet to the muffler is significantly smaller than the SRT exhaust. This would create unwanted backpressure and rob you of power.
Now you real motor guys can argue the finer points but the muffler guy said he really didn't want to do that to a car as nice as the SRT6.
So, with that said, I'm on the hunt for the right muffler and for the right sound (for my ears).

Also with the ansa that you installed was it a direct bolt on like the Magnaflow and is this a SS muffler or just steel?
Thanks

It's all here in this link.....
It's not a bolt on replacement but requires minimal pipe work as you can see.
The muffler is not stainless steel
