Re: Excessive tappet noise on cold start-up
One observation I can make is IF my car sits for a while, say a week or so, it ticks loudly at startup. Once I get the engine good and warm, or hot, a few days in a row it no longer makes noise at startup. I'm not advising anyone to drive the piss out of their car like I do, but I'd try a bit of fun, or abuse if you prefer, before replacing parts or engines and see for myself. If not driven regularly, these cars tick or tap.

Off topic but I'll answer here. No racing lately. One eye is a bit blurry and I don't dare compete with the diminished depth perception. I was going way too fast without a roll cage anyway.
What made Puerto Rico a fabulous place hasn't changed. The people, the way of life, the atmosphere. Me and mine are doing fine and living life. Heck, I just put down a deposit on a trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2020! But, I doubt the people of Puerto Rico will see things back the way they were before the storms any time soon. Les |

Replied as read. Don't care if late. Just as obnoxious now as then. ;)
