Default Turbo kit for crossfire!!

I just would like to introduce myself to the forum and see who all would be intested in getting a turbo kit for thier crossfire.

I know I am new to the forum but like many people i have been in search of more power since i have just purchased my crossfire. I looked at possiblities of intake headers exhaust and maybe nitrous setup for a full sleeper with some added punch, but my love for turbos have gotten the best of me. I will be producing a kit for crossfire owners here within the next couple months. Im trying to give an idea of how many people are trully interested in turbocharging thier crossfire.

As far as details of the kit it will run about 5-6 lbs of boost on stock motor with capability of making 280-300 rwhp. thier will also be an option for tial blowoff valve and wastegate with the kit. It will come also with a rising rate regulator. Meth injection would be an option for highter boost ratings. For the first 15 kits i will be running a special price of 4499 for the kit. Anyone after first 15 can purchase the kit for 4999. There is also 2 options availble for install we can provide all the parts for the do-it themselfer or we can install your kit along with dyno tune for $2000. If you are truely intersted please let me know.

Im pretty sure that their are individuals that are tired of spending loads of money only to gain very minimal numbers....make a kit.....dyno it.....and put some miles on it...then come back to us

interested i have already discussed it with a turbo company in upstate new york the whole turbo part is not the thing its the tuning how would any tuning be done with no software out to do it with. and the car can't even be ran on the dyno, you get shitty numbers that are not correct because the traction control or pull fuses and only get 5k rev limit sorry but no thanks without tuning software and a way to get good full dyno numbers

you need someone with the Mercedes software to bypass the "security " programming and you can do dyno runs without the 5000 rpm cutoff or limp-in mode settings.

Pretty expensive software.....but it's not impossible!

I am working with a company in Germany that can and does overwrite the MB ECU. They are working with a company in CA on turbo kits for the MB. I wish I was the company, but that is for a future date.

The turbo kit can be done, for less then 5K, I doubt it. The software needed is gonna run around 1500-2K then you after all the other parts, and well you get the picture.

I've been quoted 10-15K by three companies. If you can make this happen, you are truly more talented then I.

Good Luck!

maybe you didn't understand it is a custom fabbed setup i hae no worries about the turbo kit all being installed and fabbed up thats not the hard part any good turbo specialists can do that, its just the tuning i am concerned with since there is no real software for our cars, he says he would use some mercedes software but i just don't want to bethe guinny pig ya know, i do have faith in this guy he does alot of high end cars and i have seen his work i just really don't want to be first, if there was a tuning software already developed i would have already had this done. i have met with him a few times gone over everything i just backed out at last minute. i think i will wait for something designed to tune our cars to come out.

Nice idea "AGAIN" but how are you going to make it run without the ME 2.8 software code ?

MAX: with all due respect... There has not been one person on this forum, nor Crossfire owner who has achieved this... So, until someone actually gets off there ASZ and does something, I'm getting sick and tired of all the HYPERBOLE... I'm also very surprised with your statements, I thought you did your research... You seem to be as lost as the NEWBIES...

Sounds to me that if this comes true it will be $7000. So it makes a new car $7000 cheaper. Lets look at the choises SRT6, SRT8, SRT10, what else would be good .

I'm sorry but I've talked to the owner of the SLK320 turbo, and as we all know the crossfire is an R170 chassis, so it has already been prooven by AIG who's able to squeeze 355hp out of the NA 3.2!

Come on HDDP, this can be done right now with the srt6 ecu, DIY it all for less than Lantanas V8 motor swap.

are you the one with paulcrossfire.com, is it your car?i know your car is auto but do you have problems with hitting traction control while spraying, probably not as much as if it were standard and also i believe you are on the button, i am wot activation but had to get trac. control window switch to spray from second gear on or trac. control would engage.
