problems with SRT-6 **Help**
Hey everyone,
I have had my SRT for a year now and it has around 30k miles. I love the car. I do not abuse it that much and I live in Boston... The reason I posted this thread is because I have had some issues lately. I do not know if the cold weather is causing the problems as the temperture here is around 11 degrees.
When I am on the highway driving normal you will notice the car jerk real quick for a second and when you hit the pedal to accelerate the car almost seems like it is stuck in gear (reving up slow) or the supercharger is not kicking in...then when you wait a little the car will act normal and accelerate with no issues.
Not sure if this sounds like a clutch problem...or if there is a leak... Do you think it is due to the cold weather or should I take it to the dealer to get checked out?
Many thanks in advance!

I know it is really cold out, so it lessens the likelihood of this, but it seems that your symptoms match precisely with those reported by people who have had their intercooler coolant pump fail.

lol) or just fix it myself.
I had this same problem and I live in Southern CA. It took the dealer two weeks to find out what was happening. It turned out to be the sensor the the supercharger. What happens is when the supercharger is about to overheat a sensor will kick off the boost which causes the affect. It would happen to me about 10 min after driving the car and wouldn't stop until I let it cool. It started doing this one night when I was driving home from the races and I had a long night of racing down the strip. If you are still having this problem take it to the dealer and tell them the supercharger protection cable is kicking on to early and makes the supercharger stop the boost. Its part of the boost control.
Hope this helps it was a b@#$ trying to explain to the dealer and trying to get it to do it for them but once I finally got it to do it in front of them they had to choice but to fix the issue. In fact when they run test there are no errors that show up in the ECU. its wierd.

Ummmmm guys? I had this exact thing happen to my NA three times this week. Cruising at speed on highway and all of a sudden a jerk like a loss of power or something and then it comes back. Its a split second but I can feel it.
Anyone? I"m nervous. my warranty expires in 15 days!!!!! Help!
