Default Need some help with changing the muffler.

Hey, I was hoping that someone here would beable to help me pick the muffler I need for the crossfire that I have. I own a 05 limited crossfire and want to change the stock muffler to a flowmaster 40 delta but I don't have much experiance with mufflers and exhaust systems. My reasoning for doing this is to acheive a more powerful sound and would also like to know if by just changing the muffler to a flowmaster will it sound different in a good way?

Here's where I'm getting the muffler from - http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...A2512A0A0.aspx

I'm pretty sure that I need the center inlet/ dual outlet but I'm not sure which size I need. I just want to change the muffler and hopefully none of the pipes.

Well, instead of the flowmaster I went with the magnaflow 14220 and I have to say that it sounds way better than I expected. It doesn't sound like a rice burner but instead a nice med/semi loud(not loud to me but my Dad said he could hear it from the house when I left to go home) mellow sound.

There are a few things with it that I'm not satisfied with though. The stock tips stick out a lil more than when it was on the stock muffler and also it feels like there's less torque when stepping all the way down on the gas pedal(kinda like when the crossfire starts out slow every once in awhile). Hopefully the torque picks back up when it breaks in but all in all I'm really happy with the magnaflow.
