What sort of protection did you get?
I don't always have time to wash my SRT myself, so I have been wondering if running it through a Lasewash might cause problems.

should i worry about protecting my intake when i get it i also have the aps grill, what kind of cover is that over it, its like the cover i have over my k&N air filter on my wheeler that will prolly work where did you buy it.

 

that is a k&n precharger i put onto the 06, we have a few of those here, there like $15, we had a drycharger specially made for mrphotoman (dont worry its in with your kit) and can order more of those now (~$20). we worked with the company that makes them for k&n designing one specifically for the filter we are using (did not exist in the size we needed 2 weeks ago).

can i get them for you guys if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy? sure

if at the quarter carwash with the powersprayer i would turn the engine off before blasting the water at the intake. i would also turn off the car before doing it with the factory intake as well. i would even turn off the engine in that scenario even with the drycharger cover on there.

There's always a but.

I want to run a few times at the track to establish a baseline before I install it. Then run some more afterwards. I like to see numbers where my money went.

BTW, great job on these, Rob. I am impressed all the way with this intake. Quality parts, quality fit and finish, even a quality packing job!

Mine showed up close to 5pm yesterday, I hate FedEx home delivery!

I hope to get mine on this evening if the rain holds off. It has been raining here for over a week We actually had snow yesterday!!!

ok so took everything out of box are the only instructions i get on the cd or are there actually paper instructions with dialogue written on paper somewhere i didn't receive, the dvd shows pics and stuff but i would like a little more, is there anyone with step by step instructions to make this easier, for a na also, thanks alot

 

The CD has the only instructions on it, in PDF format. It's pretty step by step text dialogue, as well as having lots of very large pictures. You will need to print it out, or take a laptop into the garage with you.

 

yeah i can take my laptop , i just thought the instructions would be a little more step by step as far as taking the stock one off and little things like the supports i see, any advice before i head out
