ok, all the kits have shipped except the australia one which im still waiitng to hear back from, thank you evevryone for making this a smooth group buy, i appologise the powdercoating took longer then anticipated.

 

It seems as if mine is going back and forth in Michigan.
This morning it said it should be delivered today it seems to have gone back to where it started today and left again tonight.

When it absolutely,positively needs to get there overnight ?? NOT !!

 

Were we supposed to get tracking #'s cause I never got one?? Not that it really matters, I expect mine to come on Wednesday anyway if it's FedEx Ground

 

The real crime of it is that it DID get delivered to me overnight - Saturday. Too bad I had it sent to my office, and no one is there to sign for it. So now I get to wait until Monday anyway.

 

OK It has arrived !! My wife was home to sign for it and our FedEx guy just sat it on our front porch,rang the doorbell and went right back out to his truck and drove away. This is the standard practice for all packages delivered when a sig is not required.
So sig required or sig not required we don't know but the main thing is it's here.
Time to go work on the install.

It's installed !!!

I don't drink beer so I can't tell ya how many beers it took to do the install but I took my time and discovered one minor thing not mentioned in the instructions.
The 90 degree front aluminum elbow that the filter attaches to behind the grill is slightly longer on one end more than the other.
I initially had it so the longer end was behind the grill with the filter on it but then found the shorter end to not reach far enough into the engine bay to connect to the rest of the intake tubes. So I turned it around and it worked fine.
After a brief conversation with Rob I actually had it right the first time but I left it the other way and in the end I have the whole thing installed and everything lines up and clears all critical points.
