yes, thats my guess as of right now, im waiting ont he tubing to be bent right now (they are saying mid next week), the maf flanges will be done in a few hours

 

i havnet been online in awhile, but i wanted to know how everything is going with the intakes for the 2004 guys.

yeah haven't heard anything trying to be patient, and its not just 04 guys, i have a 05 roadster, na and have the idle problem, check engine light went off on its own but still idles up and drops off then keeps doing it till i am completely stopped.

 

we are waiting from the call from the mandrel bender saying the tubing is done being bent and ready for pickup is where we are at right now.

 

get on em, get em at it, lol, anyway spoke too soon check engine light came back on today.

so its been another week.. how are things looking Rob?

 

i was wondering the same, it has been two weeks, so in this retrofit kit am i gonna have to change the elbow off the throttle body of is that one good to stay there, because i am really getting sick of not being able to mount my nitrous nozzle it is the only thing holding me up. what is actually going to be coming when it comes.

do you have the fitting already? if so send it here asap and ill have it welded into your pipe before we powdercoat it

 

do you have any sort of an ETA for the kit? i just hate that darn light now!

 

its not going into the pipe it is going into the rubber piece that is right off the throttle body and before the pipe, i am making sure that won't change with the retrofit kit. if it won't i can mount it now. it has to be mounted after the maf sensor and before the throttle body and if it is in that rubber piece will be a direct spray into the throttle body and will be after sensor before throttle body, and easy to swap out later if i wanted to change intake or go without the spray.

 

and they arent even powdercoated, i thought you were saying they would be within two weeks. any idea here on how long now., maybe ill just take mine unpowdercoated, would there be any kind of refund unpowdercoated or anything, if its still gonna be a while ill just take it because i need the light off for inspection very soon. like within 2 weeks is all i have to give here

This group buy was finished weeks ago LOL. This is now just us the N/A guys getting the modified tubes for our cars.

prolly even get the right fitment now, and won't have to go through this. would almost be worth full retail now after bugs are worked out of it.

go for it if you can get it securely mounted, that black 90 deg silicone piece will still be used
