IMO.....the chances of getting water in the intake is somewhere between zero and none. You'd have to do something really stupid.......like powerwash the filter with the nozzle 1 inch away from the filter while the engine was at full throttle.

What else was on the car? For the stock car to pull 300, 296, and 295 - it sounds like you have a particualary strong car or an additional mod of some sort? Most stock cars seem to be making about 285 to the wheels
There is a breather(?) tube that fits into the drivers side of the Y connector. Does the Needswings intake have a provision for that? How is that handled?
Also, can I just pick this up and save the $20...every little bit helps.

sure you can pic it up, were on the other end of 696 from ya. so only a 20-30 minute drive
