I too was kinda hesitant to do any mods. while under warranty but then again, why wait? The car could get whacked tomorrow & then I'd miss out on all the fun!

no check engine light yet and i really hope that doesn't happen cause that will screw us, but still having the rev problem and i have put quite a few miles on prolly about 80 or so and still doing it while breaking and until i am at a complete stop. had a rough idle at first sometimes still does. and has cut out a few times at high rpm's at about 5800 rpm it started sputtering and holding back. happened 2 times so far.
Well i installed my CAI tonight and all went well until i tried to hook up the sensor the wire harnes was strung tight so i had to cut a tiewrap and cut off some of the black tape did anyone else have to do this?
I took the car out around town and didnt notice anything weird as you guys are experiancing but i will take the car out again tomorrow and see if it is doing the idle thing.
I think i was just taken by how smooth the power band is now.

You must have a leak somewhere. Your ECU should have adapted to the CAI.......
i know a couple of you n/a guys threw the light on the dash, ill have at least one n/a car here tomorrow to try and duplicate the issue and come up with a fix for it
I Installed th CAI Saturday and drove about 100 mile with slight idle and shift issues. Soon after the check engine light came on. I just reset and the light went out. I hope this will be permanent. If anything changes I will post.
I was still pleased with the intake and could feel the difference. I like the sound.

You have a 05 Crossfire correct ??
This seems to not just be specific to the 04's then.
It's seems to be a "na" Crossfire issue.

I also suggest if you need a reset disconnect your negative terminal for more than 20 minutes.
Rob (Needswings) says this: under 20 minutes is a soft reset, over 20 minutes is a full reset

I did a full reset (Disconnect neg. for more then 20 minutes) after my CEL appeared.
This occurred several miles after the install.
