NeedsWings na and srt6 CAI group buy
something i just thought of, the rubber part of the intake that goes through the front support is a little pushed in a both sides is this correct, i just didn't know how much that would would affect the flow, i don't think there is a way of getting it through without being pushed in a little it seems
haha, thanks
ok, just got word the powdercoating shop has our stuff scheduled for later tonight. so barring any catastrophies we should be shipping these out on monday.

powdercoater is saying tomorrow morning now, sorry for the delays, ill print up all the fedex labels tonight so you should have those by morning
i was able to pick them up just before they closed today, out of the batch of 20 we sent in 5 were damaged. we do have enough good ones to get everyone in the group buy shipped out tomorrow but most of the extras will need to be redone, we have 2-3 extra na intakes left over if anyone else is ready
How does a place that powdercoats these cause damage to them ??
Or did it occur during shipping ??
I hope mine is one of the ones going out tomorrow.
Patiently waiting , Valk

I just wanted to say here that Rob from Needswings did resolve the CEL issue with the CAI for our na Crossfires.
He re-fabricated the steel tube portion of the CAI to correct the volume of air being measured by the MAF sensor.
He paid all shipping costs for the exchange and the new kit is now reinstalled and has absolutely no problems after several hundred miles of recent driving.
My thanks to Rob for his efforts in the refab of this product and the constant communication throughout to keep us informed as to the progress of the job.
A very pleased customer and member here !!! Valk

The breather hose inlet and MAF sensor have been repositioned

thanks for the patience guys, i appreciate it very much thru the wait. we buy car parts too and try to look at the situations from both sides.
now let's see those n/a records on dragtimes get bumped.
we have not redyno'd the intake yet, i expect to see a few more ponies since the the car is much happeir now, we'll try with an auto na xfire and see if we can get her up to 6k on the rollers to see the full gains
