What brand is the actual air filter on the intake? Is it a dry filter or the type that requires oil? If it happens to be an injen brand filter can you pm or post the part number? I want to get a injen hydro shield for the filter to reduce the chance of hydrolock with this intake. If you can at least post the dimensions of the filter i can find the correct hydro shield from there.

 

its your choice ... both are great products that are different in their approach. make your judgment on your own based on the pictures you see and purchase what you like.

i dont want to comment on any competitors products, that just ends up in fights.

 

k&n cone, there wasnt an injen or aem dryflow available small enough to be considered. i can get a k&n filter wrap to go over the filter if you would be more comfortable with one of those, they are like $14

 

Does k&n make a drycharger (not prefilter) filter cover (same thing as injen hydro shield) that fits?

correct, the filter is in a good spot, if someone really wants some added protection k&n makes the water resistant covers we are referring to above

 

ok, were up to 19, we will only have 20 of these ready to ship this batch, we can add more names to the list but everyone after the 20th paid will be delayed a week or so beyond the initial 20 as we will have to wait for more tubing to be bent, i can call monday and get the ball rolling on that.
