chances are what EVERYONE is going to say is. its cheaper to just buy an srt. unless you have a reason for keeping the regular(paint or interior color).

An insane amount, and time. HDDP is in the process? but his car is a full track vehicle, not his daily driver.

honestly, buy an srt-6 if you want the power.

otherwise, you won't get the power of an SRT-6 out of the N/A.. and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

performance mods for the N/A are coming along, but are very limited. there's not that much you can do with out engines without SERIOUS SERIOUS $$$.

performance mods for the N/A are coming along now.. you can get an N/A to about the same hp of a stock srt.. but you will be spending twice as much money as you would have to just go buy an srt6.. id say it would take just about 8k$-10k$ just to make your n/a as fast as a stock srt6 but no faster!

yea unless chucknorris succeeds in supercharging his n/a.. hes off to a great start. he stated in his thread that it should be around 300 hp and cost about $1K to build. add a few other things to that and you will be at the srt level.

The SRT also includes a modified tranny to take the extra power and different brakes/suspension parts.

Not sure what happend to LantanaTX, but I know that HDDP has been on a new shoot back east and has not been able to work on it. I think he's supposed to be back later this year.

I know he did get some track time with his race prepped 2004 Crossfire. (Road course)

Cheers!

Jody, the AMG engine is in the car, the wiring looms are done. I'm waiting on delivery of the new Schrick cams since the one I installed in the NA engine are useless on this one. I'm also waiting on delivery of VRP's headers which were purchased directly from Vadim Fedorovsky. Then the car gets it's new brain from MOTEC East in Charlotte, NC. Hoping to get it done by mid-july.

PS: I purchased the Schrick Cams from Korman Autoworks in Charlotte NC. I was told that they were "THE LAST SET" of M112 AMG cams that Schrick had in stock... And probably will never machine any more.

Also, completely rebuilt the suspension and cut the Eibach springs and removed the perch pads to drop the car another 1.5". Had to do some metal work inside the wheel wells to make clearance for those BIG FAT WIDE Hankook & Hoosier race tires I use. But the car now sits flat and very low like a road racer should.

I also decided to fabricate a front fascia, splitter, rocker panels and rear fascia that will seal the car to the ground. It's still in shaping stages with foamcore, but should get to glassing it soon...

PS: I trailered the car from California and have it here in Charleston... Thankfully MOTEC has an office in Charlotte, which is only a few hours from my temporary home...
