Just did this same thing this past Tuesday. Wasn't a problem. Before the muffler shop started cutting, I took some measurement's with my finger, (LOL...very technical way to measure, but it worked)). I made sure when they tack welded the tips, before the final welds, that all lined up properly....it did. The clearence between the top of the tip, and the bottom of the bumper was one pointing finger to the second knuckle joint, and the sides of the tips were one thumbs width between the side of the tips and the surrounding bumper, and between the tips, the gap was also one pointing finger wide. Your measurement's may vary...depend's on your finger size...lol. Looks factory, but doesn't sound factory!

PS..now I'm trying to find that perfect set of new rims....what a headache!

Give the magnaflow tips a chance. I had planned on having the stock tips welded on when mine was installed today and forgot to tell them. When I saw the car with the magnaflow tips, I have to admit I really like the way it looks, much better than the stock tips.

Looking at pictures on the forum, I had a totally different idea...

I also liked the OEM tips. However, when I installed the Magnaflow Catback, I also fell in love with the Magnaflow oval tips and left them on. I am enjoying the sound and the tips make my Crossfire a bit different than the rest of the pack. Not a very big pack around here though!
