Re: Squires rear turbo system.
You have to get the universal kit. I live next to Deep Stage Motorsports (Killeen Tx) and I been also working a deal with them, they are a STS dealer. Your price is for the kit only, add 10 hrs labor, add a lot of piping and I know you don't need it but get a intercooler too. Yeah, If he finance this turbo for me I'm getting it. It's 100 hp for sure and most V6 are getting 5-7 psi.
Before some body say it No there is not turbo lack because the exhaust pipes are always full when driving!
Ps. STS holds records for land speed trap, fastest corvette in the world and the 3 fastest GTOs in America.
Check YOTUBE for all the info you need

Re: Squires rear turbo system.
In my opinion 5-7 lbs of boost isn't too much for a stock healthy engine to handle. Go more than that and you need to start thinking about stronger internal parts if you want the engine to be reliable.
I've built a few supercharged engines and all have held up running anywhere from 5 - 12 pounds of boost.
On my Camaro (stock 305 engine) I was going to use an FMU (fuel management unit) but got an adjustable fuel pressure regulator instead to boost the fuel pressure up. Ran great and made the car a little bit more respectable on the street.

Interesting vids by the site and were I a true motor head as some of you are I might understand all of this. Right now the estimated cost is around 15% of the overall value of the car which isn't too bad if you have the income and know how to install this yourself.
Good luck for those taking the plunge.

Let me know. My uncle has one that was rear ended, and was about to send it to the junk yard! It seems to be the same 3.2L we have
Anyone interested?

But seriously I am very interested in this setup and if we dont have anyone with one installed I may end up being a guinea pig on this.
I relly like the design concept.

that's your car, I remember that is an old picture, still haven't seen the actual crossfire with this system run in a video yet.
I'm not sure they figured it out completly for the crossfire as it's not listed on thier website. sounds like vapor ware to me. I'll waite for CHuck norris to figure it out.
