If Deep Stage puts the turbo in who would tune it? Mailing the ECU some where is not a problem for me?

LET motorsports can do custom tuning for these cars.

TVT can tune too, but there is a big difference between tuning and Turbo set-up

Since TVT is an authorized LET reseller, I agree.

LET has already tuned NA-to-FI applications with success.

So I priced building a DIY remote turbo kit (with a AEM ignition and fuel controller), came out to just under $1000. But this is before any tubing. Makes it very tempting to build one. I don't think i would test a DIY system on my X.

Once someone has actually put on of these on your cars.. please give all the details.. if i ever decide to do this.. it will be this winter while the car won't be driven.. can someone find links to where to buy an intercooler to handle the turbo and fuel injectors for it.. and how much their total cost was for it.. I am really on bored for this if.. the crossfire recognizes the turbo.. and #2 this turbo doesn't mess up the engine..

alrighty, let me see if I can help any...
Intercooler is not really needed (as said by STS) because of the area it is mounted. TVT said they have injectors that can handle it. I don't have my notepad with me from when I added everything up but it was something like this. Turbo, T3/T4 (ebay) $150. BOV, 42mm (HKS) $199. Wastegate (Tial) $100-ish??. Oil pump and plumbing (Summitracing) 150-ish?? Fuel and ignition controller (AEM) $464. Injectors (TVT) $449. ECU tune (TVT) $500+ Total: $1862
** STS universal kit price does not include injectors, AEM controller, or tuning.
FYI, Originally I didn't put injectors or tune into the price cause i have a E-manage and i wanted the DYI test build to be done on my 240sx which has injectors.
Sorry about all the "-ish" prices, I was guessing from what I remember writing.
As for the X recognizing the turbo and such, The MB ECU is a real ***** but I know Chuck somehow bypassed it. But the AEM controller is important here. I dont know how harmful it would be to your engine, We have very high Compression (10.0), High compression and turbos don't go together. If you do it you will need to keep it low, like 5 psi

Any pics or anything? I saw one on your profile, but there are a lot of people who would love to see some numbers (pricing and HP) as well as more info. If you could keep us posted that would be great.

I'm out of this STS project. I found a Top Secret never done before custom mod, it puts a base crossfire at 360 HP . I'm half way done and time for delivery is July!
