Good point.
Yes it would because these tips do get pretty hot.

VALKRYDERGUY,

I like the round exhaust tips thanks for the pics. Although the stockers look good as well, these tips give the appearance of something special and a little unique.

I will probably get to work on this later this summer with the little fascia panel for the exhaust when I get back to Mass. I have a great metal worker that may be able to help with this.

Question for all would you prefer something stainless (metal) or a CF version?

My vote would be matt black - powder coated stainless RaceMesh. Not sure if carbon fiber would hold up under the heat?

No typo - (mat, matt, matte a. dull, unpolished). LOL! I checked! Anywho - stainless would be the best way to go I think, low maintenance, no rust.

Now I hope that when you were referring to a Matt Finish you were not referring to:

Australian rock band Matt Finish was formed in May 1978 by singer-songwriter/guitarist Matt Moffitt (born 20 August 1956 – died 13 August 2003)

LOL!

Yes SS may be the best way to go. I will probably get to work on this after I get my pipes installed and move back to my home up north.

THanks

Nate

On my SSB I guess CF would look best but really anything that trims around the tips will look good IMO
