Default How Many Ltrs Of Engine Oil Do I Need?

Hi guys, I'm doing my first oil change on the Crossfire and I cant seem to find how many ltrs the engine needs. I'm sure someone here knows I'm guessing around 6ltrs?

You will need 8ltrs or 8.5 quarts. Start with 7.5ltrs and adjust from there so as not to overfill.

Very close. 8.5 quarts equals 8.044 liters.

I see you are in NSW, I see you have RHD and a speedo in Kph. So if you still use Imperial measure, although I doubt it, it would be 7 Qt's Imperial (UK) or 8 litres. Everyone assumed you were in the US.

Thanks guys appreciate all the responses, I went out and bought Shell 5W-40 it says its desgined for sports cars and modern cars it was ALOT cheaper then the Mobil 0W-40 its crazy. I'm actually in Victoria borders with NSW. And we definatly use kph and ltrs haha not to sure on the quarts stuff but you guys have been great in translating it for me.

Kolevski,
Is that Shell oil a synthetic or standard? Does it meet the MB spec? I would be VERY cautious on the oil you use. There are a couple of alternatives to the Mobil 1..... but they are all higher than standard oils...

Good oil is cheaper than an engine.....
