turbo or supercharger???
ok I have a turbo that im sick of looking at soo should i slap it on the old fire or should i buy a supercharger that i found and a junk yard it has 3000 miles on it for 800 bucks. the car was rear ended and smashed. i have had turboed cars before. I know theres alot more fine tuning to a turbo than there is a supercharger. I have a limited with a couple mods exsaust cold air better plugs and wires, just little stuff done.

Since this threat ended before it started I want to ask a question lol.
Moparrbust, remember a while ago you made a thread and you were doing something to your transmission? I cant find the thread what did you end up doing?

I think you should install both!
Stage them correctly and you can have the supercharger for getting up to speed, and then the turbo for top end without any supercharger robbing power! If you wanted to be really trick you'd put in a switch and clutch so you could disable the supercharger entirely.
Just did a little math, the way I see it this setup will require at LEAST 6 blow-off valves, with one after the muffler being mandatory.
You're right about the tuning, supercharger boost is read entirely different than turbo boost when it's going into the engine. You could get one of those sweet power programming chips off e-bay though.

Is there an "new" after marker supercharger for my 2005 Limited coup?
I would like to increase the performance in a number of way but so far have only found a Magnaflow complete exhaust system.
All suggestions will be appreciated.

with regards to your question there has been some failed attempts at supercharging the N/A motor in the Limited. However, I think the cast engine can not withstand the forces of anything over about 6psi leaving you wanting a heck of a lot more power and nowhere to go.
The computer is a completely separate issue and a big deal.
If you really want a supercharger, then the best solution is buying an SRT.

Tamadx, you have an SRT listed in your signature, is there any reason you are interested in turbo applications???
Not trying to be a ****, just wondering.

i kno you cant just slap a turbo on. Ive turboed a couple cars i kno how it works. i wouldnt just slap one on any stock motor it needs to be full built im talkin start from block and then up i spent over $2000 in just the head of a s2000 i had it takes alot of time and money i would rather have the charger because of the less power and less fine tunning. Turbos are a pain in the a$$ but once its fully set and tuned its amazing. Im going to the yard this weekend.
I logged on when I got home and looked at the index page and I was all like
