Well my car is in the garage with no intake on it and no driver seat, so I am pretty sure I am done driveing it for the year. Just finishing up 2 intakes and trying to get them ready so that there will be no wait period between ordering and me shipping it out.

Yea, they pop right in like our covers, I dont see why it wouldn't work. I'm doing the same thing. I had the part number around here somewhere... I'll find it for you.

shipping would probably cost a lot due to large size of the intake i would assume.

At least the intake does not weigh too much and I attend a few of the GTG which I could bring them over the boarder.

Here is the problem I am having with reproduceing these intakes.

As I posted... a friend and I made the one that is on my car. The intake Works good, Looks great, No issues at all with performence. So there is no problem there. The parts and know how is strait forward and simple. No problems there either. I have a fulltime job so I am not looking to make a living selling these intakes. This is where an issue rises. My friend is a mechanic with his own little shop and is doing ok and wants to charge big bucks for these intakes. That does not sit too well with me considering I know exactly what they cost to make and the amount of time it takes to make one. I am not going to rip anyone off so thats why I have not proceeded finishing these. I started to make 2 of them in my garage and they turned out good but need just some finishing touchs. It is so much easier and most of all faster to make them in his shop. As of right now I have my intake on my car and thats where it is going to stay unless you want to see a bunch of these intakes on ebay for around $800 plus everything that goes along with buying from ebay. Instead of around $500 compleat how I would like to see them be sold and I could just bring them to the GTG's and install them on the cars if thats what a customer wanted. We have not argued about makeing these and we both want to, but it comes down to the price. If I make them myself it will be a PITA for me alone. If he helps make them prepare to spend alot of money. So... I dunno...

Your friend has the Crossfire Pricing spirit! What's a matter with you?! Don't you know yer 'sposed ta charge out the ying/yang for anything that has to do with the Crossfire?!

Also be prepared to pony up to be a Commercial Sponsor if you want to sell them from the site.

Oh wait. The site owner hasn't been checking in on us for awhile. Who would ever know?!

It would be really awesome if you could draw it up on like Auto Cadd and sell the plans to people. I have a ton of people that could make it I just dont have the time to try to make it from scratch or let them use my car to plan it out. Just an idea

Just a comment on sending out drawings... once the drawings are out in the public, you have no control on distribution. If you dont care, that is fine. If you want to make money from your idea and work, use caution.

You could always pay your friend to make them for you, and not involve him in the selling of them. That is unless he wants to be a friend and charge you out the wazoo.
