Default Help - engine dies... while driving!

I have an '05 limited edition coupe, automatic.

In the last couple of weeks my engine has died three times while I've been driving. What is more perplexing is that when I've attempted to start the engine again immediately thereafter, the car won't start - the engine won't even turn over! Complete silence. The lights on the dashboard do go on, but that's it. It has taken anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour for the car to start again.

A few days ago, I took it to the Chrysler dealer. They ran several diagnostic tests but could not identify the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be the cause of the problem??? This is very troubling to say the least.

They always seem to find us when things go wrong!

Welcome to the forum mcjack301! Glad to see you checked with us before spending big $$$ with the dealer or getting stuck in the middle of nowhere! GDC-SRT has provided you with the solution. Read it and if necessary let the dealer read it.
Meanwhile if the car stalls again open the hood and on the passenger side right next to the battery is a black plastic box. If you open the box (by sliding the tabs located on the top of the box) you will see a couple of circuit cards closest to the battery side and then there's a smaller black plastic case thaat is on the engine side of teh box (furthest from teh battery side.). This is the relay control module. Smack it around a little and try to restart the car. Might work, might not.

When they change out your relay control module see if they will let you keep the old one.
Then let me have it! I've been inside of that little booger and would like to have one to study out of the car and not worry about breaking a good one.

sure you can have my old relay control module once I've got it replaced.

what is the part number? The folks at my Chrysler service dept have no idea what this relay control module is.
