re: Ansa Muffler for Crossfire - Group Buy
Nate,
I just got off the phone with Paul and I believe he has some really good news for you! Give him a call if you don't hear from him soon.
It was good to finally speak to Paul as I had never talked to him before. When I got the idea of the Ansa on a Crossfire, I dealt with Gwen. Once this thing took off Paul said he took over. I was telling Paul how I worked for the Super Shops in the '70's and the ower/founder of the Super Shops lived right up the street from me. Every day I heard one of his Ansa equipped Ferarri's driving past my house and loved the sound. It was being a teenager and loving that sound that made me want to try an Ansa on my Crossfire. I love the sound on the Crossfire and now with a V8 running through it even sounds better! The fact that we even have the option to use our stock tips makes the Ansa even more appealing. I had called Paul to get his input on my existing muffler with a V8 and wether I needed something bigger. He convinced me that my existing muffler is more than capable of handling the power. He also thinks the SRT guys should give it a try. Reducing the pipe size slightly into the muffler will not hurt performance. The real cork in our exhaust systems is the exhaust manifolds which is why no cat back system has produced gains.

I chatted with Paul last week and yes we do have good news. Paul knows how great the Ansa's sound on our cars and has been gracious enough to pull the trigger on 10 of these that are already on their way from Italy. He got the old pricing so the great news is that they will be available for around $225 shipped. I will update the forum when the arrive.
THere should be about 8 available because a couple are already spoken for.
I will start a new thred then. This way I dont have to get ripped off with the $20 group buy for something that is for the forum not me.
I will update as we progress.
Let me know if you are also going to update the SRT six guys on the benefits that this baby can offer for them.
THanks
Nate
