Default OBD-II Scan Codes PO172 and 175

First posting, please be gentle and I did search before posting.

I picked up a 2005 Crossfire with 82k miles on Ebay last Friday. Drove it home 300 miles and everything was great with the exception of a few knick knacks.

Over that same weekend I changed out cabin filter, oil, oil filter, and dropped some Lucas fuel injector cleaner into it and topped it off with premium fuel. The FSS indicator read that it needed service 739 days ago before I reset it. It has dual K&N Filters that I have not yet cleaned but I start that project tonite.

I decided since I'm home, its safe to do some testing, so I take it out and really hop on the gas to see what she has and to clean some cobb webs out. After doing this I noticed that it stuttered a bit at idle and the CHECK ENGINE light came on.

Took it in and the 2 reading are PO172 = Fuel trim bank one condition and PO175 = Fuel trim bank two condition. The explanation for both is that the ECM detected a rich or lean air/fuel ratio due to any of the following: MAF sensor, failed HO2S21 (o2 sensor), ignition misfire, or engine mechanical. The car does run OK with maybe a slightly lower than normal idle.

Another thing I noted is that in 1st and 2nd, if I am really getting on it, I hear a clunking in the engine compartment. Is that indicative of bad engine mounts and if so, is it the shock absorber looking thing I saw on the front of the engine? The stick shift has yet to jump out of gear (something I read here).

Any help on either item is greatly appreciated.

Where are you located? Best way is to bring it to someone that knows what they are looking at.

Based off of what you said, I'd say MAF and motor mounts or trans mount. But you need to be more speciifc on the knocking.

So after reading more posts it looks like a lot of peple get this after high revving. I cleaned out my K&N air filters (they were caked), cleaned up the housing, did a throttle reset and cleared the computer.
Took it out for some high rev driving and took her for a day trip and 129 miles later it looks as though my problem is solved.
