Minus one muffler
I just took the plunge and replaced my muffler with a Y pipe. I gotta say it is A LOT louder then I thought it would be. I read on here that its a very mild exhaust, its not. Its not crazy ricer loud but its not quite. Well let me take that back, at idle and if you dont give it much gas and shift early its quite enough to not notice with the windows up but anything beyond that is loud. I did it yesterday so I haven't decided whether i'm in love with the tone or not. Its a real throaty tone that supposedly sounds amazing when you drive by someone.

Ya there's no muffler. After driving for a few days the sound has really grown on me, I was afraid at first that drone would be unbearable but after going on the freeway it really isn't noticable, not interfering with talking or music. I recomend doing this especially since the shop charged me only $140. It makes me wanna drive my car more which I didn't think was possible
YOU can add a header silencer in one tail pipe are in both, takes about 10 minutes! May buy just one silencer and cut in half cost 35.00$ NO need two spend monies on a muffler . You are dropping 30 to 40 Lbs with no muffler; I have done this ,only time car is louder wot
. Just do it u will not go back! Danny

I did this a few years ago...its only loud when you really get on it. I have since switched back to the original set-up. I'm going to get the Magnaflow cat-back next week.
Take a look on page 2 of my gallery and you will see a pic of what it looked like on the car. I was having trouble uploading it here.

I put my maganaflow on back in the fall and have no issues with it. Sounds great. Its also a very easy mod, bolts up in no more than 1/2 hour.
