Any shops around the LA area that are gurus with these cars? and that can do a dyno tune?

 

I know of no one in SoCal. However you can send your ECU to Inmotion in Oak Grove Oregon.

I talked with them last week and got the lowdown. Is there a difference between the EUROCHARGED and the INMOTION tune? Also I read that if the dyno tune you get more performance than if you just send the chip in, is this true? I am thinking that I could send the chip in then have it dynoed and tuned some more. On the dyno what would they be tuning? timing? other?

 

When done in conjunction with the chip flash, a dyno tune can a fine the settings for max efficiency.

Eurocharged has a lot of experience and does make regional trips around the country. I don't think Inmotion does that.

Not saying anything bad about local dyno shops, but our cars are a little more finnicky than others and you really need to know how to do it. There were a few horor stories about companies in the LA area a while back.
