Guys if I were to swap my spare srt cams and full exhaust in my fiances N/A will it increase the power/change the sound of her car?

Off the top... the SRT exhaust and NA are not the same... dont think it will fit without changes...

 

From visually looking the only difference in exhausts is that the N/A's pipe diameter is smaller and the SRT exhaust has the resenator, I'm not sure if the headers are different though, they both look to be the same size.

But my main concern is the cam's if it doesnt affect anything adversly I think it will give my girls car a nice gain in power and sound.

 

I'm getting a modified SRT exhaust on my car this summer. TVT is removing the rear cats and resonator and gutting the muffler. The manifolds are the same for both NA and SRT so they will bolt right up. If you look at the SRT exhaust the part that bolts to the manifold is reduced to the same size as the NA exhaust.

 

Good stuff man, but why are you gutting the rear muffler? it might drone and sound tinny, taking out the cats and resenator will be pretty loud! each to there own though, goodluck with the project.


P.S. Guys is TVT really banned from the forum or was that just a rumor?

Well my fiance's brother thinks the SRT cams wont work on the N/A because there designed in a low compression engine with a supercharger, he thinks it will result in a loss of power. thats one verdict, what do you guys think?

 

I think FP banned him cause he didn't have enough chrome on his car, lol.

Honestly going through all the posts there seems like 0 evidence and 0 reason for the ban.
