Default clutch is jacked up

Where is the slave cylander on an 04 .... clutch is jacked up. Drove home from work fine....got in it about an hour later and the clutch was tighter. And the car wont start unless in neutral with the clutch mashed to the floor. Or is that not even the slave cylander...any help would be appreciated !

Bat's car just did the same thing 3 weeks ago.
Fingers on the pressure plate aren't coming back to their rest position fully, causing issues similar to yours.

Car only has 9k miles on it, and is an '08.

Warranty is replacing the flywheel, friction plate, and pressure plate due to glazing, hot spots, and the weak fingers.

BC.

The clutch has a system that applies constant pressure to the fingers to compensate for the wearing of the friction material on the disc. Odds are you're probably at the end of the clutch life which means theres no more room for the adjusters to take up the slack.

The throwout bearing is internal, it bolts to the transmission over the input shaft. You could try bleeding the system, you could potentially have some air trapped which is causing the mushy pedal/engagement problems
