Default Evosport Pulley Kit

Hello.

A couple of months back I ordered my evosport pulley kit for the n/a engine and got it installed.

After half a day drive, one pulley ( the largest one, I think its the power steering one) flew straight off.

The shop said that there is just 1 way of installing pulleys and that one just doesent fit, so now I drive around with 2 instead of 3 Evosport pulleys.

Is this true or are they just bs'ing me?

Thanks

I have evosport UD pulleys on my car and they have not flown off. I am pretty sure the powersteering pulley is just pressed on (need a special tool) if I remember correctly. Your mechanic didn't want to take the blame for improper install so he/she is putting blame else where.

You need a special tool to install this properly. Did you notice any belt wear on the belt before the pulley was off? This would indicate improper seating of the pulley from the start. They fit, we have them on our car. I would go back to the shop and demand that they fix it. That could have caused a lot of damage if it flew off at the wrong time.
