Storing my x-fire

Default Storing my x-fire

I am away on business every three months or so for about that same amount of time, so when I leave I take the Crossfire off the road to save on insurance. I know when you store a vehicle you are supposed to change the oil, but is it really necessary for me to change the oil if I just changed it two months ago? Or should the used oil be fine if it sits there for the next three months? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

If you're only storing it for 3 months, there's no reason to your oil change interval.

Listen to what the computer on your car tells you. There is a function that tells you the numbers of miles before you need to change the oil. It takes into account the time and wear.
Long and short - No need to change the oil after that short a time
