Ansa Muffler - CA Compliant?
Hi all,
I'm a Crossfire owner (Black '05 N/A) currently living in Orange County and looking to purchase the Ansa muffler...but no idea if it's CA Compliant on the emissions standards. Anyone have any insight on this?
Thanks

The Anza is an incredible sounding muffler. I have been running the Anza longer than any other Corssfire owner and it is still sounds like the day I installed it. Ok, actually it sounds even better since I started running 8 cylinders through it. If you can still get one of these you should jump at the chance. As far as CA goes, it is just the muffler and you are not effecting emissions at all.
You can even get a better sound and a few HP by eliminating the secondary un-monitored CATS but you may want to think twice before doing that in CA.

Thanks for the replies everyone! After e-mailing info@ansaautomotive.com I received a speedy reply and am now in contact with Gwen, who said the price of the muffler is $201.53 (not including sales tax and shipping for me). Now all that's left is to wait for my next paycheck and then it'll be time to shoot her an e-mail and order it!
Also, from the sound of the e-mail, there's plenty of these things: she told me to let her know when I was ready to order.

I love mine! Zero drone and a beautiful "hum" at startup. Classiest sounding muffler I've heard on these cars.
I'm considering the cat delete, but it's not an emergency so I'll wait.
