Default simple, but somewhat effective intake mod

I added 2 small pieces of plastic to the intake ports on my Roadster to see if I could drop the intake air temp a bit. This is intended to isolate some of the hot air off the radiator/Ac to get a little cooler air.
My UltraGuage says it has dropped the intake air temp around 10 deg F on average.

Now that's interesting. I love to see many different ways we can improve the intake temps. Nicely done.

Wow, I would have though you where blocking the supply of cool air. I love seeing people try new things. Maybe my filter is sucking hot air off the rad too. Thanks for the idea.

Same thing I thought. Plus, when you're driving at cruising speed, I can't see how this mod would make a big difference since the air is moving at such a high rate.

Thanks for your insight. I will take a look at this the next time I have my grille off.
