Default Dyno tune

I am relatively new to this forum. I have seen and looked up dyno tune, but do not really understand what a dyno tune consists of. I hae a limited coup, no mods. What should I consider? I have replaced the cupholder and plan on the speaker mod. I will put in brighter headlight bulbs, and have considered a dash kit, and a throttle body kit. I do not want to do anything that will cause complications or reduce reliability. I would like the car to run better, longer. Speed is not my primary concern. It does well now. Cold air intake? Dyno tune? Oil catch can? Pulleys? Sprint booster? As you can guess, my car knowledge is limited.

Hi there. Simple mods like a cold air intake and tune will actually help your car breathe better and even improve your gas mileage besides HP and not hurt the reliability. Pulleys are usually for the supercharged SRT6's but you could always replace the crank pulley with a lighter aluminum one which I have done on my N/A cars. The sprint booster will increase your throttle response for quicker reaction, making the car feel much quicker. Good luck and enjoy your ride!

you need a dyno shop close to you. typically 3 pulls run about 125$ you contact e/c and purchase their tune and cable. about 265$ setup a time and appt with e/c and the shop and as your doing the dyno pulls the info is logged by e/c and the ecu is tuned according to what they see.

e/c =eurocharged. honestly if your running an n/a engine with zero mods you dont need a dyno tune. the e/c tune will net approx 20 hp and without any mods the dyno wont help much
from your original post it appears your primary concern is with the looks of the car not the speed. in oem form you can expect well over 200k in miles and with reg. maintence maybe more. it is one of the best most solid engines m/b ever built

Thanks. you are correct. Plus, I would like the car to increase the enjoyment of the car. Is a cold air intake worth the cost?
I have also searched the forum and I do not see much of a way to keep the seat bolsters from pressing and making my hips uncomfortable.

I put a gel cushion on my seat to make it more comfortable.
