Default Wrap kit idler bearing failing at 6k miles

Well my car started making a whiney high pitch rattle sound a couple weeks ago and after looking at everything I figured the idler pulley bearing(just above the alternator) to be the culprit. I shot a text to Rob at Needswings and after shooting him a pic and measuring the pulley he threw one in the mail at a good price...........even though it wasn't his failing product. I threw it on yesterday and no more weird noises.

Here's s few picx of the old pulley/bearing that was part of the code 3 wrap kit.........

I replaced my wrap idler last month. Bike Cop had done the original install so I'm guessing we got 20K or more on the thing.

I just pressed in a new bearing. It was an easy fix.

And then quiet.
I hate to think I will have to do this every two years or so but I like the feeling when I punch it. Stock setup in the other SRT and it just isn't the same.

Where did you source the bearing? I was thinking of doing that to my (now)extra idler pulley so I will have one on hand for the next time.

One of my staff techs found it. I'll have to ask.

I would think most any industrial power transmission dealer would be able to source it.
