Coming Soon long tube headers!!
Hi my name is juan im new to the site but 3 year owner of an 06 crossfire limited. My friend and i are on the process of building some long tube headers for the car, stimated time of arrival is early january. I'll be posting pics and dyno test before and after. Also once the're done and the results are up, if anyone is interested we'll build and sell to anyone that would like some. Stimated price at the moment is 800 but is not a certain price yet.

I would be very interested, will you be able to provide a ceramic coating ,like "JET-COTE", looks like chrome. We would all like something that will fit with stock hangers and cats, but can also offer some customization. Maybe removal of back cats or reasonator, etc. Do you have any plans yet as to contruction materials polished SS is best. Any details as you decide will be greatly appreciated.

Coatings of any kind will be special request, but yes we can have them done. We would have to sent them someplace to get them done so it would be extra because of that. As for the metal, we'll be using stainless steel. When it comes to the length its hard to say.

Looking at having a set built this spring by a shop in Indy, but I am interested if they come out alright. I can tell my price quoted for the shop here was $1200.00, but they are coated, butt welded, etc...

if your building stainless steel long tube headers that dont hit the frame for 800$ and have them built before speedriven builds the shortys ill buy the first set
I had a local fabricator look at my car and the estimate was $1200.00. That included finding out what the car liked as far as primary size, collector size etc. No long tubes though.

Check these out, these will fit the crossfire engine bay. If a shop could "take Ideas" from this Kleeman setup , minus one tube per side of course

Any reults on these yet? Guts said early Jan for some feed back and I gave it some more time for leeway. So everone wants to know how goes the header build Guts?
I would not expect long tubes to fit. I pushed for these a long time ago and my understanding is the steering box is in the way. I would love to be proven wrong but would not count on it.
That raises an interesting question.. If long tubes are a no-go because of
the steering box.."short tubes" are going to clear? Haven't raised the hood
for a looksee.. but long tube - short tube.. the difference is kinda self explanitory isn't it?

hey guys sorry about the long wait. just so you guys know we are doing this in our free time and our work schedules changed a bit. so we had to holt the project for a bit but were gonna be starting up again in 2 weeks 3 at most. with that said, yest the steering box is a problem we faced but we think we found a solution to it. ill post again in about 3 weeks when we continue. in the mean time if you guys have question let me know and ill respond. also before i forget about the kleeman headers our original idea is actually very similar setup to those.
