Default Temp needle going too high?

So many of us have commented about how the engine will heat up a lot before the fan starts.

Well, I had BuckHead Imports work on the car yesterday and one thing I had them do was to turn the fan turn-on temperature down as far as it will go. Which is 10 degrees C below factory.

It makes quite a difference! The fan starts before the needle gets to the halfway point now. I hear the fan all the time, so it seems when in traffic at slow sppeds - seems to run about 30% or so (if having the A/C on is about 10%)

TOtally worth the effort, of course, they flushed the cooling system while we were at it and put on a new steering damper (damn, did that make a difference, I guess I destroyed the old one.)
