Need some suggestions
Im 18 and ive had my xfire for a little over a year now, my friend whos got a charger has put an exhuast and a CAI + a chip and has made me realize i need to lock it up and get my *** in gear. Ofcourse the first thing thats going to need to go is the stock exhuast. ive done some research and know that the way to go is cat back and prefferable a maganflow. does anyone know a good place to obtain one from, also prefferably the cheapest way to do this. any suggestions are much appreciated!!

I've read some on the throttle body that people were having idling pronlems at times, does the tune solve this problem? Im on a $600 budget as of right now until i can come across some more money, is spending half my budget on tuner the way to go? or will i need to have other upgrades first in order to actually see an improvement. Thank you for the suggestion but now confused on the path i should seek for my xfire!
I did the TB, MAF, dexcreen/baffle, and noticed little increase, but I am just going by feel since i have not dynoed it. On the flip side, I had a very noticeable gain with the tune and CAI respectively.
The tune seems like a great buy for the future but with my current stock setup, will the tune make any improvements or is this a buy just for the cheap price? thank you for the comments and suggestions!!
It will improve it dramatically right now (so Ive heard).... Dont hesitate, especially with the sale going.
I think you will be happy, and it is the gift that keeps on giving. (free re-flashes)
You should see an immediate improvement, but the tune will also make any future mods better.
I have the Magnaflow, and love the sound, but it is not a performance enhancing mod. I wish I had the funds to jump on the "George" sale right now.
At $300 it is easily the best bang for the buck currently available for the Crossfire.

This is not entirely accurate, Max had a leak somewhere, but had had it since the car was new, me and several others had no leaks and I dealt with a bad/surging idle for around 1,000 miles over a few weeks. I worked it out at the Dragon, really pushing the car, but it would not be very high on my list of mods because the tune and CAI make SUCH a difference...

Installed the 74mm ( by myself ), again absolutely NO issues.
Had the EC tune done , again, no issues.
Still idles just as it did when I bought it ......
( Guess some folks are just plain lucky - and I am actually getting better MPG )
Whereas I installed the CAI ( with Max's help ), had no issues.

So did the TB really give you some gains? I could barely even tell...
i received my cable in the mail last night and emailed the adress you told me to contact thismorning and im still waiting for a response. If you or anyone has done this process before approx how long does it take to get a reply and then once you speak with them how long does it take until the flash? Thank you!!
just keep after them. They will respond. Once your time is set up, it will take less than a half hour, if your internet connection is good. You do have a laptop, with internet access, I hope?
