Default Tensioner and Idler puller question

I have 04 coupe, miles 110,000. Lately, I heard the sound ekkkk all the time. So, I took to the mechanic. He said that I have to change tensioner and idler pulley.
1. Is it possible to break two at the same time?
2. I found tensioner on ebay as in this link Goodyear Engineered Products 49262 Belt Tensioner Assembly | eBay
Does this the right one? Does the price reasonable?
3. Does anyone know any place cheaper than ebay?
4. The mechanic will charge me for $50. I think it a bit expensive. I would like to do it by myself. Does anyone have any video or suggestion on how to replace these two?

Many thanks

The pic of the tensioner looks correct. $50 for any quality tensioner is a good price. The idler pulley can be checked for bearing smoothness and any noise. It's not a bad idea to change them both to eliminate trouble down the road. $50 labor is not bad considering all the overhead to run the shop. Probably 20 - 30 minute pay rate.

James

PS it is not uncommon for a shop to charge $100/hr when you supply your own parts.
