Default EGT sensor for zt-2, what's your thoughts?

I will be installing the zt-2 soon and have a wideband O2 and boost sensor that I am installing with it. I am guessing there is an additional sensor to be installed for the EGT but how is this sensor's information feedback useful to us or to the tuners?

leaner the car runs the hotter the exhaust. monitering egt is another way to detect lean conditions. the proper way is to moniter each cylinder to determine which cylinder runs lean. costly but effective
