Took off my Manifold Covers tonight and its not good...

You can add a header tank and inspect the fluid level, but how would you add a low fluid sensor? Adding a sensor to the header tank would be pointless.

An ole' engineer yourself 180 you should know....a float gauge in the tank, wired to a simple red LED light where ever you would like to see it... same set up I will have in my meth tank once installed...

Float gauges are OK but in situations where there is movement the gauge has to be damped or you keep having a flashing light. The float signal in the WW tank is damped somehow. When it trips it stays tripped.
I think the tank is best, you look and if it's down you start to worry.

Dave, when you click on that thumbnail pic., there are a few other pic.'s above it in the gallery display. If not, they are in my gallery. That little tank is a power steering reservoir off a BMW. They are very inexpensive and can be gotten on E-Bay. Beaner said that if you bring it to him, he can install it for you.
