Default Going from flowmaster 44 to stock?

Hey all, I bought my crossfire used which has the flowmaster 44s on it but in all honesty I am tired of the drone. This car is my daily driver and a loud exhaust on this car isn't a big deal to me.
I do have flowmaster 44s on my srt8 charger and that sounds a lot better of cours than a v6.

Should I go to stock? Or is there better mufflers out there that will be quite and close to stock?

was the resonator removed? if so reinstall, not much backpressure in a resonator. it will kill the drone.

May try this ,remove drone from srt6 after muffler delete, i just inserted 1 in 1 of the exhaust no drone, may cut in half and put 1 in each pipe

CC Insert for reducing exhaust drone....wow it works! - AcuraZine Community

i tried something similar to the cc insert after i had removed the resonator. mine was installed before the muffler, didnt work for me. i just gave up and reinstalled the resonator.no drone and no change in performance.

Assuming you don't have an SRT, as long as your system is not totally modified, going back to stock is a very easy option. 3 bolts at the flange, at the rear of the rear cats and the system can be changed out. Contact member FP for a good deal on a stock system. A while back he had the stock cat-back system sitting in his basement, for sale.

interesting read on drone and harmonics. 2 different size mufflers/resinators to cancel out the drone?
