I purchased a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust for my 06 crossfire and when I took it to the muffler shop, the installer could not get it to line up. The drivers side was pressing against the cross-member right in front of the muffler and the passenger side was hitting against the passenger side heat shield. The auto parts store is ordering a new one from Magnaflow for me but I'll have to wait at least a week for it to come in from California.
I have confidence in the muffler shop as they have done cat-back fabrications for me in the past. Has anyone ever had this happen to them with a Magnaflow cat-back system not lining up under their crossfire?

we had to bend (re-position) the hangers between the mufflers to have the tips centered. But it also took some twisting of the tubing to get it aligned. I can't imagine that MF would send something off. These are all made by CNC benders and is rarely made incorrectly.

When the replacement arrives if its still not lining up i'll give it a shot. Did you have to put a torch to it or no? Thanks

Yep. We heated the hangers to make the job easier.

And when I said "twisted the tubing" I didn't mean deforming it-just using all of the rotational adjustment offered/available.
