Any thoughts on running the headers between the crossmember and the AC compressor on the drivers side, and between the alternator and the crossmember on the passenger side? Using oval underneath the car and laying them out side by side of course. We would lose about an inch of ground clearance and the exhaust mid back is already lower anyway. This would deal with engine bay heat, fit, installation and smooth bends. Any thoughts or concerns? Apparently there is a grade of stainless with titanium in it that does great with heat and durability. It's the 321 I think.

Backpurging will take care of most of that

Tunes, gain HP once more air, thru upgrading to CAI, more pulley for us w/ a S/C, and more fuel.... Without that, a tune isn't going to gain that much HP... Factory tunes are never all out performance but well within parameters for a long life, not pushing it to the edge...so, yes, there is room for EC to make HP... I do like the rational comments about headers on turbo'd and S/C'd cars...it does make sense... We will be looking at a gear change and an exhaust upgrade on the coupe...we will leave the roadster alone for now...
