Default EGR Not Ready - is there a sensor?

I couldn't pass the smog-check because EGR data is not ready. But it doesn't give any error codes (Engine Light is NOT on and no other indicators are on). Is there an EGR sensor somewhere that might be at fault?

Usually you get EGR Not Ready when the car is stored for more than a few months, but I drove more than 1000 miles since I didn't pass the smog check, so the data should be there.

Please advice: Should I replace the EGR Valve or is there a sensor somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

I had trouble passing the test here in Ontario, I had to do an amount of varied driving speeds, the one that finally did it was 20 miles on the freeway.

I know, it took a lot of driving last time, but it's been more than a few months ago, since then, and it still says "not ready", still after more than 1000 miles. I think there's definitely a problem. I even bought the "OBD Link" adapter to read/monitor data with my phone.

Any other advice...?

Sounds like you two might have a sticky egr that's not throwing code yet https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post799624

Simple and cheap to fix.
