you need a set of devil horns to finish off the look.... one of the nicest diy cai I have seen..... Max and Johnny have nice looking home made ones as well...

Thanks Doc. I think I found some useable devil horns. I'll probably trim the flange and see how these will work. Should have them next week. If they end up being too flimsy, I'll try coating with epoxy or may even use them as molds and fab some custom FB ones. The size and shape looks like a good fit.

UPDATE (12/1): Managed to fit the Brake Ducts. Trimmed the flanges completely off for easier fit. Just pushed them into the silicon hose for perfect grip without any need for clamps. One corner just does get behind the frame which holds them solidly in place. Drivers side was a PITA but it fit above the horn bracket without any modding.

I'll admit that I used your idea for the inline filters. This is the SRT version. The straighter rammed-air flow into the filters just makes better sense to me. And the SL55 "Y" connector which simply clips onto the throttle body makes the install and removal of the entire setup super easy.

I tried one of his $250 "Y" pipes. The fabrication was one of the worst I've ever seen. Very thin metal, the welds were not cleaned up and the inlet to the TB was warped/ovaled from bad welding. Got my money back and his excuse was that the part got past QC and was not the norm. He doesn't have a favorable rep on the MB forums either. Way over-priced for the quality. But yes, he has the right idea.

I have almost an identical DIY DCIA. I used the following "T" to connect to the TB.
