What are folks' opinions about using fuel injector cleaner in the XF engine? Any reasons not to?
If yes, what brands are recommended?

I use Chevron Techron primarily.. Seafoam on occasion. Techron has smoothed out more than one vehicle for me in my experience. Even my son was thinking he needed new injectors as he was throwing a code on his truck. Told him put it in 1/4 tank of fuel and see what happens. Injectors are no longer on his shopping list.. LOL.

 

Well I was at Mercedes Dealer yesterday and it was on sale there so I'm tryin some of that.

Throw a pint of kerosene in the fuel tank and fill it up with fuel. Those injector cleaners are mostly just a fine blend of kerosene, it breaks down deposits and they get burned.
