Default Delayed Shifting Gears

What's up guys, I own a Crossfire SRT6 and I recently just got a muffler and resonator delete... The sound is awesome, so much louder and I can actually hear my baby (the engine and all the horses). I've noticed though however with less backpressure my gears are shifting (in automatic) a little bit later as if they are delayed. Is this normal?
