Default 74mm throttle body upgrade

Alright so I have an 04 Crossfire.. automatic.. and I'm looking at upgrading the throttle body to a 74mm. Now, having said thst, I know nothing about what I need. Is there a certain kind, brand, etc? I'm assuming I can't just go buy a 74mm tb and slap it on there? Help me out.

Good thread started with a walk through type in
N/a 74mm throttle body upgrade guide.

The part number for the right throttle body is there, I got mine from eBay off a donor car with 33k miles for $45 shipped.

So as long as the part number matches, it should work?

Yes it should work, you need this also but swap the original sensor into the new maf "tube" Don't forget the new O-ring.

Yes, but realize that the OEM plastic IAT/MAF piece will be a restriction unless replaced with one off a model with the 74mm.
You will reuse the old sensor if the new plastic piece comes with one.
Also very important to order a couple of new O rings for the TB before starting.

The ideal scenario is : 74mm TB, NeedsWings CAI ( either single or dual ) and a Eurocharge tune.
