What will be the best investment for my car? Looking for more power, gas mileage and sound. Now my car is pretty much stock. Would it be a chip, air intake, exhaust or all of them? Budget: 2500$ - 3000$
i really got frustrated when a Pontiac Solstice raced me and got the better out of me

 

Needswings. For parts. No chip. Ecu by Eurocharged. Exhaust remove rear cats. Do muffler elimination. There's no way u should have got beat by Pontiac. Srt6 has more HP

If you got beat by a Solstice, The first thing I would check is to make sure the ic pump is working. You should have been able to beat that Solstice in reverse. Unless they had some serious mods.

 

No, the solstice turbos are damn quick, and about 300lbs lighter. And who knows if it was stock.

 

They only stock 260 hp

 

Damn, a Solstice? The fastest one on Dragtimes is still in the 12's.

 

for cheap upgrade 290hp with more torque than a stock SRT6, I think 340ish. I think that is what the Sky Redline has. Like I have said, never underestimate any Turbo, basically dial a boost for cheap. Even if peak HP doesn't increase much, typically mid rand torque can be amazing. It's all about area under the curve.

 

Do you mean Eurocharged Stage 1 Power Package(2299.) or just the pulley (475$)? What about Needswings Thermal Coated dcai... Are they worth the price? Thanks for your replies

Get those installed, get a tune, then go look for that Pontiac. There's no way a stock Solstice should even be close to you.

 

What's the power increase with the pulley, dcai and tune?
